A Day, Much Like Any Other

By Ryan Davidson

This is what a world without

would be like, I suppose.

Last night I joked:

“grading papers, cooking dinner, drinking wine, doing the wishes, and watching TV are too

much for one person.”

I got through, I made it. I made

something. But I cooked for two,

because I don’t know how to cook

for one, so the same will happen tonight.

I’ll get through,

I’ll make it. Because

what other choice is there?
