Meeting in the Mirror

One day we will meet

with a dose of doubt and disbelief

and we will keep silent about our betrayal.

You will see my tired face

from a previous life

it will be a hidden longing

meeting in the mirror.

со доза на сомнеж и неверување

и ќе го премолчиме нашето предавство.

Ќе го видиш моето уморно лице

од некој претходен живот

ќе биде тоа скриен копнеж

Sanja Atanasovska is a Macedonian journalist and poet. She was born on December 21, 1985 in Kumanovo. So far she has published four collections of poetry "The Letter of the Ten Fingers", "Testament of Life", "Garden of Glass" and "My Saffron", and is also the winner of two literary awards in Macedonia, Lesnovski Zvonа and Karamanov. In 2019 she was at a literary residence in Montenegro.
